Just installed the current alpha release of PsychDesktop after following a link from the eyeOS forums. Just wanted to pop in and say hello. :)
My first impressions are that PsychDesktop is pretty slick. The UI is attractive and responsive, and it looks like all the common desktop 'features' are in place. If you guys can draw the attention of more development oriented users (whom will likely bring with them some new apps), you'll be in business. I myself am a developer, but I know next to nothing about dojo. Still, I'm looking forward to tinkering around and seeing what I can come up with. On that note, big ups on including an IDE, however basic, into the core package; very smart move.
Nice work so far on PD.. looking forward to seeing more from this project!
Hi. Yeah we'd really like to
Hi. Yeah we'd really like to see some sort of code editor in upstream dojo. Eventually though we will probably write it ourselves. Anyway, for the first release we're really focusing on the core platform and getting it really polished. We're hoping that since we're a small project and have limited resources that the developer community will write the apps.
